Hi, I’m Amy – Personal Trainer & Confidence Coach for Women

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer based in Harlow, working across Essex and Hertfordshire. I specialise in helping women – especially beginners – feel confident and comfortable in the gym. My approach is supportive, down-to-earth and completely tailored to you. Whether you're starting from scratch or getting back into fitness, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Why I Started sculPTwithamy

My passion for fitness began early – I had a Saturday job in a local gym and quickly realised I wanted to turn that passion into a career. After qualifying with a Level 3 Personal Training certificate in 2017, I launched sculPTwithamy to create a space where women could build strength without pressure or judgment.

Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of environments – from national gym chains to outdoor spaces, people’s homes, and online platforms like Instagram and Facebook. That experience taught me how important it is to meet people where they are, both physically and mentally.

My Approach to Training

I believe that fitness should feel realistic, balanced and empowering. With so much noise on social media, it’s easy to feel unsure about what’s healthy – and what isn’t. My goal is to help women cut through the confusion and build habits that last.

I work with women from all walks of life, but my core focus is on:

  • Personal training for beginners

  • Confidence-building in the gym

  • Strength training with proper form and progression

  • Small group training in a supportive environment

All sessions take place in a welcoming studio in Harlow, where you’ll feel safe, seen, and supported.

Beyond the Gym

As well as personal training, I’m also a qualified sports massage therapist, offering treatment to help support recovery, mobility, and overall wellbeing alongside your training.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about movement in all forms – from lifting weights to running. I completed my first marathon in 2024, and running has quickly become a big part of my own fitness journey. When I’m not training or treating clients, you’ll often find me exploring the countryside with my mini dachshund, Winston, or taking time to focus on my own wellbeing.

I’m a big believer in the mental health benefits of movement, and that mindset runs through everything I do – because fitness should support both body and mind.
